Badges, Tickets and Festival Basics

Festival Venues

Membership required for all films and events.

Becoming a member is as easy as buying a ticket, or an ALL ACCESS badge. ALL ACCESS badges come with a one year membership and tickets come with a festival only membership.

Don’t miss out because of a sellout, especially the Opening, Closing and Centerpiece films.  Plan your festival schedule ahead of time, and buy tickets as early as possible – or better yet, buy a badge. But remember – After show time, no one (including badge-holders) is guaranteed a seat!

Ticket Sales:

Day-of sales for UArts tickets are only available at the venue. For other venues (Kimmel, Prince), they will be on sale online up until 2 hrs before each screening. After that, they are exclusively on-sale at the box office where the film will be shown.

If you want to buy a ticket for a same-day movie, go straight to the place where that movie will be shown. The tickets for the entire day go on sale one half-hour before the first show of the day at that venue.

All phone, online, and Kimmel, Prince, Levitt, Connelly walk-up sales can take Cash, Visa, MC, Discover, and Amex.

Online Sales:  You can and should purchase your ALL ACCESS badges and tickets for individual showings online.  There is NEVER a service fee for online purchases.

Walk Up Purchases:  Opening tickets are available at the Kimmel Center box office. All showings at the Prince and UArts are available at the Prince box office, except day-of-sales for all showings at UArts. Day-of-sales for UArts showings will be at available at those venues.

Arrive at the theater early

To start the film on time, we must seat as many people as possible quickly. Allow plenty of time for your transportation, especially on weekend nights.

Mind the weather

The Festival attracts thousands of people, so don’t be surprised by lines that extend outside – and prepare accordingly.

At the Theater

Seats cannot be held! You must be present to take a seat. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no “standing room” admission at any Festival film or program.

Screenings start within five minutes of the scheduled time – however, the Festival cannot be held accountable for late starts.

Silence is Golden

Please unwrap noisy wrappers, silence your voices and communication devices to ensure a quality audience experience.
