You can mix and mingle, compare notes on your favorite films and maybe catch a glimpse of an out-of-town guest, a director or actor you just yesterday caught up on the BIG SCREEN!

We kick off festival week with our annual fundraiser, Kiss Me I’m Irish and Gay, with 100% of the proceeds going to support qFLIX Philadelphia. Join us with a splash of green as this 11 year tradition continues. Music, free drink and drink specials, raffles, food, free tee shirts, and more, all for a small donation of just $20. This is an event that is not to be missed. Come enter a change to will ALL ACCESS badges to qFLIX Philadelphia.

Opening Night Black Tie Gala | Two fabulous locations – One spectacular night!
Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts & One Liberty Observation Deck
This star-studded evening begins with a walk on the red carpet at 6:30 PM at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts for the Philadelphia premiere of “Hello Again,” a critically acclaimed big screen LGBTQ+ musical starting at 7:00 PM.
The Black Tie Gala Benefit continues at 9:30 PM with a trip up to the 57th floor to One Liberty Observation Deck, where we will celebrate with and among the “stars” surrounded by a 360-degree dazzling view of the city.
Guests will then enjoy culinary delights from some of Philadelphia top chefs, with an open bar, along with talented Philadelphia-based musicians, and a Who’s Who guest list you don’t want to miss!
qFLIX Philadelphia 2018 marks 24th years of tradition with this groundbreaking musical from director Tom Gustafson (“Were the World Mine”) featuring a star-studded cast including Audra McDonald and Cheyenne Jackson, both of whom have been invited to receive qFLIX Artistic Achievement Awards in Acting, alongside Gustafson who will be presented with the qFLIX Artistic Achievement Award in Directing as part of the Opening Night ceremony.

Who doesn’t love a sexy Daddy? And we are lucky to have one of the sexiest Daddies on film here with us at the festival, Gerald McCullouch. Join us for a fun meet and greet with Gerald at UBar after our last screening on Friday night (11:30-close). Gerald is in town to celebrate with us and promote his wonderfully entertaining film “Daddy” and his latest project “All Male, All Nude” a sexy journey into the world of male strippers at America’s only all nude gay strip club located in the heart of the Bible Belt and the unique family unit it engenders.
